Loved how my superior queen room was set up. The location was comfortable for me as it was next to Shanklin old town, the town centre and Foxhills where Ann. Also, this hotel was situated 2 km from tourist destination like a parish church.

We spent a few nights exploring nearby beaches and the beautiful coastal walks. The hospitality from the owners was great, and the breakfast was a treat with tons of options. Rooms were spacious with large windows letting in loads of light. The location is perfect for hitting the local restaurants or trekking around the island.
The only downside was the Wi-Fi connection, a bit spotty in certain areas of the building.

Perfect spot for a quick getaway!
We stayed for 4 nights and loved how cozy the place was. The breakfast spread was super tasty, especially the cooked meals by Chef Ray! The hosts were friendly. Just wish there were some chairs in our room, but it was still comfy enough for our stay.

The lounge area boasts stylish decor with comfortable seating. Piled up with ample options, the breakfast menu offers delectable choices like the crushed avocado with poached eggs and an enticing fresh fruit salad.
While the bed provided a comfortable night's sleep, it leaned on the softer side, which might not suit every preference. I ended up wishing for a small desk to set up my laptop, but it didn't impede my enjoyment of the stay, as I found alternative ways to work from the room. A minor concern was the slightly cluttered glass shelf that seemed unnecessary and could be a bump hazard during the night.

Foxhills offers a charming stay with well-furnished, clean rooms. Ray and Ann are friendly hosts who provided excellent breakfasts. The slight lack of local attractions nearby was evident. A lovely old house, it feels like home but could benefit from more nearby amenities.
